Breathwork for Stress Reduction

Learn to harness the life enhancing super power that's right under your nose - your breath.

Breathwork is one of the most powerful yet under utilised tools for reducing stress and improving overall health in our ever more demanding lives.

The quality of our breathing affects our mental, emotional and physical state. The way we breathe is directly connected to stress and feeling we are ‘always on alert’. Unfortunately most of us get stuck with the switch ‘ON’ which has a detrimental effect on our relationships, health and performance.

The practice of breathwork offers a fast and effective solution to combat stress and burnout, by teaching you how to hack your breath to change your state - on demand.

The result - more energy, focus, and resilience to not just survive but thrive in life. You’ll also learn how to find the ‘OFF’ switch when you most need it!

During the session you will be supported and guided through simple exercises which utilise breathing to create a state of calm and relaxation. These powerful exercises become tools for life which can be applied to any circumstance.

During this workshop you will:

Learn how your mind, body, emotions and your breath are intricately connected.

Understand the connection between your breath and stress and how your breathing can regulate your nervous system.

Experience different guided breathing exercises to bring your body to a state of balance and relaxation that can be used in daily life.

The workshop is hosted by Philippa Wilkin of Breathworks. Before becoming a coach and breathwork facilitator, she previously worked in the insurance industry for 12 years. Philippa has first hand experience of modern day work pressures and experienced her own version of burnout during a particularly demanding work project in 2012. She now shares the powerful tool of breathwork to help manage stress, prevent burnout and overcome challenges in order to thrive in life, health and business.
