Here is a testimonial from a very successful client, Rochelle Traugott:
"When I started working with Kirbie I was looking to shred some weight and feel better about my body. I was struggling with consistency, discipline and creating habits for achievable goals.
I can not say enough good things about Kirbie and her ability to tune in to exactly what my body needed to get into better shape.
I started my Christmas break at 230lbs. I was always tired, had a difficult time staying focused when I was in classes that fall semester, and never had any motivation to do anything except drag myself to class and back home everyday. I tried eating better but that wasn’t working like I wanted it to and had no push to go to the gym regularly. I saw an add for the Indie Yoga personal training program and decided that that was how I was going to get started on my path to becoming a healthier person.
Before the program even began Kirbie was there for me explaining how the program was going to work and what things I needed to bring back with me to make the most out of it. I began the personal training program as soon as I returned to the island on January 8 and weighed in at 227lbs. I gave Kirbie my very ambitious goal to get under 200lbs by the time I went back for break, and with her, as always, positive and upbeat attitude she said that was doable! She had already made my meal plan with the macros that I needed to lose weight and adjusted it to foods that I like.
Kirbie was always so upbeat, encouraging and always knew what to say to keep me going throughout the intense workouts.
Every workout fed more and more motivation to come to the next as I could tell from the soreness that I was accomplishing something. There were many days that I didn't feel the motivation to train for many reasons, but Kirbie always had the motivational words to get me to come and relieve the stress through training. I never regretted going and it was even helpful in my studies.
Throughout the entire program Kirbie adjusted my meal plans as we progressed through the 3 phases and was always there for all of my oddball questions that I had about foods and substitutions. She made the meal planning very doable and gave me so many choices that I never got bored with what I was eating.
Progressively, in the program I slowly noticed a difference in my ability to focus and pay attention in class. I also found myself needing less naps in the middle of the day and overall had more energy to do the things that I needed to do to be a successful student.
At the end of the program(10 weeks) I weighed in at 201lbs and by the time I left for break I had reached my short term goal of getting under 200lbs, weighing in at 198lbs. I had such an amazing experience with this program that I begged Kirbie to offer it again this semester and she obliged. My roommate was inspired my by progress over the spring semester and has decided to join me for Kirbie’s summer semester personal training program. I’m really excited to further my journey in becoming a healthier and happier person."
